Palestine Statement
The newly composed Israeli government has foreseen in its coalition agreement the annexation of Palestinian Territories starting by today 1 July 2020.
The PROGRESSIVE ALLIANCE – based on the commonly agreed resolutions* – calls urgently the Israeli government and the parties which compose it to give up any plan of annexation as it would represent a violation of International Law and numerous UNSC resolutions.
We are convinced that such plans will undermine any future Two-State-Solution and would harm any progress of potential for Peace, Stability and Prosperity in the region.
