Once again the world is facing a large humanitarian crisis. More than 20 million people face the threat of starvation in Yemen, Somalia, South Sudan and Nigeria. But hunger, and the disease and hopelessness that follow, can and must be overcome.
Generous pledges from around the world must now be translated into action. Money and resources need to start coming to those in need. For fighting hunger cannot be a question of funds or even compassion, it’s a question of human decency.
Now is the time to act, and to act together.
