Hosted by the Labour Party and in cooperation with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS), the Progressive Alliance will be holding a fringe meeting at Labour Party Conference on “Tackling Inequality. A Programme for the Left to Promote Inclusive and Sustainable Growth – Experiences from Around the World” on 22 September at 12:30 – 14:00 hrs, Exchange 9, Manchester Central.
Speakers include: Jim Murphy, Shadow Secretary of State for International Development, Labour Party, Great Britain, Jennifer McAllister, President of the Australian Labor Party, Australia, Anne McGrath, National Director of the New Democratic Party, Canada, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Secretary General of the National Democratic Congress, Ghana, chaired by Dr. Ernst Stetter, Secretary General of the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS). These Speakers from sister parties and think tanks share their experiences of tackling inequality and discuss a program for action at national, European and international level.
