Utrecht fringe meeting – Promote peace and justice in the 21st century

During this Progressive Alliance fringe meeting at the PvdA-congress we will discuss the question how to promote peace and justice in the 21st century, with who we need to cooperate to achieve that and what is necessary for a stable democracy.

We are delighted to welcome you at the Election Congress of the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA), on the 14th of January in De Fabrique, in Utrecht.

We cannot and will not close our eyes for the bloody conflicts we witness in the world today. Conflicts are part of the daily lives of too many people, in Syria and Iraq for instance.

We need to promote peace and justice in order to put an end to the human tragedies.

During this Progressive Alliance fringe meeting at the PvdA-congress we will discuss the question how to promote peace and justice in the 21st century, with who we need to cooperate to achieve that and what is necessary for a stable democracy. We will invite representatives from sister parties to share their views and we will reflect upon the policy proposals in the PvdA manifesto that will be adopted at the same congress.
